About Us

Who we are: My name is Steve Miller, the founder and president of EPreward.  I have been an RN for 30 years, and a Cath Lab and EP Nurse for 15 years.  I love working in “my” EP Lab!  The intimate contact with patients and their families during stressful times, comraderie with fellow staff, and the sense of accomplishment as part of a special team benefiting a human life.  Though EPreward is more than a full time job, I still work perdiem in a lab as that role is a part of who I am.  Now, we see you and your staff as being the focus of our efforts.  

How we started:  Nine years ago, I was given the responsibility of finding the highest platinum return for my EP Labs catheter tips.  Not being pleased with the earnings or service we received, I felt other Labs must be having the same problem.  So… teaming with others in EP and business we spent years researching, testing, analyzing and developing a company that provides a higher return.  Though catheter tip refining was the initial motivation for starting EPreward, we have now solidified a process that meets that goal and have been able to address other needs confronting EP departments. 

Meeting other EP Lab needs: Financial needs such as the expiration of unused catheters and expense of purchasing new ones (Catheter Relocation) and paying departments more for whole used catheters (Catheter Buy Back).  Staffing needs in the challenge labs have of obtaining staff and of staff who are moving to a new location (Staffing Assistance).  Knowledge needs of managers who are new or are facing new challenges (Management Consulting).  Lastly, the need to share ideas with other EP staff (Discussion Forum) and especially the need for practical and applicable continuing education (EP Education).  

The Future: "A collective intelligence is superior to an individual one."  We are an EP community resource in progress. This websites quality will be greatly enhanced with your input. Submitting articles you have written for publication in our Newsletter, submitting Power Point or video presentations from you or your MD’s, Discussion Forums, EP Education and Equipment Reviews are all constructed to share your experience and insight.
