Annectdotally, we all have a wealth of knowledge that can be discussed and if supported, through evidenced research (term gives me the dry heaves), or published studies or conscensus opinions and statement change and maybe advance practices and procedures performed by the "allied professionals."
The registered specialists and the registered nurses can provide information to improve on our situation in the EP labs.  Community participation like this forum started by Steve can work as planned if professionals get a little more involved with their practice.  Feeling alone, isolated, misunderstood by your cathlab peers and hospital peers?  Confidence waining in the onslaught of patients coming through the revolving door of medicine?  Stressed and worried with about the quality of care patients get on the "cutting edge of medicine?" Some problems will never get solved and issues are always in flux.  Get involved with discussing those "things" only another EP professional can understand.  BLOG this site.  Learn from others how to vent, reinvent, and prevent stress and disillusionment.  Work should be fun and exciting, right?
