When a Physician leaves a hospital or changes catheter preference
-- or a lab changes its technology -- catheters may go unused.
If the manufacturer will not credit you for these items, they will
become a total loss due to expiration. Reprocessing them will only
cost your department more money for something that will continue
to sit on a shelf.
We will purchase your unopened and not-reprocessed catheters.
We will then inspect, log, track, and redistribute them to
a facility that can use them prior to their expiration date. We relocate
capital equipment, cables, ultrasound catheters, and other
items as well. The manufacturers we carry include Bard, Biosense
Webster, Daig, EPT, Medtronic, Siemens, and others.
Both Hospitals Win! The selling hospital makes up to a third of
the price of a catheter that was going to be a total loss, the
purchasing hospital pays from 50% to 70% below the listed price,
and a very expensive medical instrument is not thrown away in the
garbage.
Contact or phone us (561-375-8034) and we will provide
more information to you and your Materials Management department.
